If I Hit A Twitter Following Limit, What Should I Attempt?
After you have followed 2,000 users you have achieved the Twitter account-based limit to follow more new followers. Follow limit is a system-wide restriction and it’s not a thing to remove or update your follow limits.
So far there are some of the Twitter Regulations which you need to know.
- Once you have got a daily limit, only wait 24 hours (for API requests one hour) and you will be given to perform the action as before.
- Twitter following limit rush in after unrequited follow attempts overtake more than 1,000 people.
- Once you have got a follow limit, only reduce your following number until it compares your follower’s number. The main rule it is that the follow limit is based on followers/following ratio preferably than time, so you have to un-follow in your account before you are able to follow over.
- It’s not spam control from Twitter. Twitter does not have the purpose to monitor spammers with follow limiting. This limit improves site performance by providing that when people send a single message to all of the followers, the sending of that message is expressive.
- To avoid following limit do not keep following glaringly. If you have initiated to follow 300 people but only 5 are following you, they may not follow you back, and as result, they might block you.
